    <p>
      Every day we make decisions.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Some seem small.
    </p>

    <p>
      Some seem significant.
    </p>

    <p>
      Some appear harmless.
    </p>

    <p>
      Some even look loving and responsible.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Family invitations.
    </p>

    <p>
      Work commitments.
    </p>

    <p>
      Church activities.
    </p>

    <p>
      Helping others.
    </p>

    <p>
      Meeting expectations.
    </p>

    <p>
      Managing responsibilities.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      None of these things are wrong.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Yet the deeper question remains:
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      What is shaping my decisions?
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Pressure?
    </p>

    <p>
      Guilt?
    </p>

    <p>
      Fear?
    </p>

    <p>
      People's expectations?
    </p>

    <p>
      Or the Holy Spirit?
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Many of us spend our lives making good decisions.
    </p>

    <p>
      But God is not merely calling us to make good decisions.
    </p>

    <p>
      He is calling us to make Spirit-led decisions.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      There is a difference.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Good decisions may satisfy people.
    </p>

    <p>
      Spirit-led decisions honor God.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Good decisions often respond to urgency.
    </p>

    <p>
      Spirit-led decisions flow from intimacy.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      When we live without seeking God's direction, we can become exhausted
      trying to meet every need around us.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      But when we pause and ask the Lord for wisdom, He begins shaping not only
      our decisions but our hearts.
    </p>

    <h3>Bible Story Reflection</h3>

    <br>

    <p>
      King David often paused before making important decisions.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Again and again Scripture records:
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      <strong>"David inquired of the Lord."</strong>
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Before battles.
    </p>

    <p>
      Before movement.
    </p>

    <p>
      Before major decisions.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      David sought God's direction.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      His strength was not found in always knowing what to do.
    </p>

    <p>
      His strength was found in knowing Who to ask.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      The same invitation belongs to us today.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Before reacting.
    </p>

    <p>
      Before committing.
    </p>

    <p>
      Before saying yes.
    </p>

    <p>
      Before saying no.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Pause.
    </p>

    <p>
      And ask the Lord.
    </p>

    <br>

    <h3>Prayer</h3>

    <br>

    <p>
      Father,
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Every day I face choices.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Some seem simple.
    </p>

    <p>
      Others feel overwhelming.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Teach me not to be driven by pressure, fear, guilt, or expectations.
    </p>

    <p>
      Teach me to seek You first.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      Shape my decisions through Your wisdom.
    </p>

    <p>
      Guard me from rushing ahead of Your voice.
    </p>

    <p>
      Help me distinguish between what is merely good and what is truly
      Spirit-led.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      When I am uncertain, guide me.
    </p>

    <p>
      When I feel pressure, steady me.
    </p>

    <p>
      When I am tempted to please everyone, remind me that my first calling is
      to please You.
    </p>

    <br>

    <p>
      May my choices reflect Your heart.
    </p>

    <p>
      May my path reflect Your guidance.
    </p>

    <p>
      And may my life reveal the beauty of walking closely with You.
    </p>
